Default ferry site

Well it finaly got warm enough to venture out today.I hooked up with Danback today and we set out to hit the site were he found the fugio cent.We had to lay off due to deer season, yesterday was the last day so when we got there they told us "nope still another week of blackpowder season to go !" So we headed to an old ferry site witch was the termination of the catskill turnpike called wattles ferry. Not much to show for it but i did find 1 musketball and some kind of thingamajig. All in all it was great to be out detecting and not freezing my fingers off!...HH all !

Hi Pappy,I flattend it back and it seems to be complete. It dosent appear to have been cut or broken off.I think it is brass and is about 3 inches long.It is also quite thin.I was thinking some kind of decoration off of something.

That thing-a-ma-jig kinda resembles the decor on a screen door that is right above and below the door handle...
