A pair of Mercs in the woods.
It was 40 degrees today so I bundled up and headed for the woods where I found the Barber dime a few days ago. It started raining lightly just as I found a Wheatie so I had to stay. I wasnt finding much but not much trash either. I was just about to hang it up when I found a 1917 and a 1925 Merc about three feet apart. I hunted another 15 minutes and found another clad quarter. It was too dark to see so I headed home.
Three hour total= 2 Mercs, 3 Wheaties, 3 clad quarters, a few shotgun and rifle bullet casings , a few rusty can remnants, and a few pieces of misc. junk. Good hunting to all.
