A Relic Day!
Paco and I decided to focus on relics only today. We hit the same "productive" farmfield for about 5 hours. I found an 1800s flat button in about two minutes of detecting time. I have it soaking in olive oil now. Then, I started to make my way out to the middle of the field where I had picked up some musketballs on prior trips. I later pulled out two musketballs.
Paco ended the day with two musketballs. So, I ended '06 on a positive note.

Congrats on your relic finds, Keith. I enjoy reading about the "adventures" you and your pals go through every time you get out to metal detect. It seems you guys do very careful research, and the posts you all document here on Treasure Quest goes to show the rewards you guys receive from that research. 2006 has treated you all very well and I am sure 2007 will do equally well, if not better!
