Default A good day

I went and did a little rain detecting today and found what I'm Pretty sure it's a King George copper. I will have to wait till it is done with it's olive oil bath to see if i can get some more detail. I will post a picture after it is done soaking. If it is a King George, It will be my oldest find.

Mr. silver a King George copper is from the early and mid 1700's. I'm 99% sure that is what it is. This is a scanned picture of it but there is not enough detail to tell for sure what it is. I'm sure It is a coin but I can't say for sure yet what it is. It has righting on the edge but i can't tell what it says yet. I'm hoping the olive oil bath will let me see exactly what it is. I was told that if the face is to the left it is a King George 2 and if it faces to the right it would be a King George 3.

I sure hope it is what you think it is.
How long do you think you will have to soak it in the olive oil?
