The Kid Outdid Me
 Beautiful day at the Beach today...Sunny...90 degrees...People having fun...............................NOT............. ..Overcast...Snow Flurries....Windy...40 degrees....Am I NUTZ...? Handed my 9 year old G/kid the MD and she pulls up 4 pennies and a nickle from the same spot...BUT we got a total of 11 pennies, a nickle, a token, and a whatzit...Not bad for an hours work, since we were both FROZEN.... ...!!! It was ALL HER idea...lol...Anyway, we had fun while it lasted...I wanted to take more pic's of the Dormant amusementson the boardwalk, but the camera froze up on me...Then when we got home in the WARMTH, it worked just fine.... Boo...

Yeah Tom,
She really gets a kick out of it...And the VERY first time I went out, I took her...Well we were in a wooded area of this Lake/Park where I used to go when I was a kid...All of a sudden I see this small purse, and just for grins put the coil over top of it, then asked her...Whats This..???.She lit up...Come to find out, it had some jewelry in it along with a Debit Card, and a picture ID card in it...Oh...Also, a Fifty dollar bill...THEN she really lit up, but me being the good guy that I am, I tracked the kid down and gave her purse back to her, well her parents anyway...Then gave my G/kid 25 bucks since we BOTH kinda found it...I felt pretty good about it...  ...Since I had a wallet stolen from me during the summer and know what the value of the contents in the purse meant to her...Boobird...

Boo - you are such a sweet person. That was a nice thing to do. Not only to give the purse back but to give your grand daughter $25. Way to go. J
