Haversack Button???
I was working the same field that I found my 1901 Half and found this. From what I have seen in other posts I think this is a haversack button. Just need someone to confirm that. Any help is appreciated. Sorry about the pics but it was the best I could get. I usually just scan everything.

OK Kelvin, if Pappy says it's a Haversack Button, that's exactly what it is.
That's my expert opinion.  Heck, I don't even know what Haversack means; Nice Find

Thanks Pappy. I thought that was what I had. I really haven't found anything else like that in the area I have been hunting. It is an unusual find for me.
