Sunday Morning Wheaties And A Merc!
Went for an early morning hunt at a lot where a 1900's house used to be. There was a cold wind blowing and the lot is a bit over-grown with weeds but some of it was accessable. I hunted this place about 2-3 weeks ago for the first time and found a couple of wheaties and two silver Roosevelt dimes. This day I found 5 wheat cents (1945, 53, 54, 55, & 58), 5 memorial cents, 2 nickles, 3 dimes, 1 mercury dime (1919 and my first of this year), 2 rifle shell cases, and a pocket knife. It was a good 3 hour hunt and I will definitely hunt it again in the near future.

Five Wheats and a Merc is an AWESOME DAY, NC
 I've searched through 2700 pre-1986 pennies since freeze up here, and I've only found three Wheats & a 1943 Canadian King George.  And you did that in just three hours

Nice finds. Must be nice to have good enough weather to get out. Snow cover here and 5 inches predicted tomorrow. Oh well.
