Default Places to see items to find

Well yall I've been gone awhile but during that time we have found alot, maybe not all in arties but alot of places in time. I'm not sure if its just me but do yall ever want to learn even more about the places you hunt? Heres a school for instance that we found in the woods. I asked the people who live in the area and found that a lady of about 75 went to this school as a little girl but she was in the hospital and I could not ask her about it. We found an old case knife here buried about 6 inces under ground. As you can see though the roof fell through the floor but what was amazing is that all the fixtures were still inside the school toilets, sinks, old electrical fixtures. These things look like they were added in later years.

Oh WOW...what a great place you have found . Great pictures too, Thanks for sharing those. I agree with you, I want to learn all that I can about the older places I hunt. I never cared for history until I started MDing, now it seems I'm researching everything about my home town, and the places I detect. I wish I would have started this hobby years ago, soooo many missed opportunities(sidewalk tear-ups, old buildings torn down, etc.)
Good luck detecting that old school.

Heres what we found so far. The knife was about 5 in down when I pulled it up my heart was pounding. The wheat was 25-30 feet from the entrance in the worst briars (ofcourse) around the school about 3 in deep.
The best find was a coal pail pulled from within the ruble, complete with the teachers? name "Mrs Brown".
Will be back there again for sure
