Default Anyone remember these?

In the earlier days of my youth, if you were shopping in a merchants store and had to use the rest room you had two choices. One choice was to pay a dime (most restroom doors had locks on them) or you could get a token from the merchant and use it to open the lock. This is a toiletoken I dug in a neighbor's yard. It is about the same size as a dime. Oh I just remembered a third option for gaining access to thr restroom. You could stand outside of the door and wait for someone to come out then dash in before the door closed. Used this method many times but usually got dirty looks from the person coming out.
