Default Finds and a question

Well, it's been a while since I've done any MDing, but I finally got out this week. I went to an old county road that is no longer maintained where all the houses and stores are gone. Just foundations and debris left. I have found a 1903 Barber dime here and a 1902 IH penny, along with a couple of wheat pennies from the 30's and 40' in the past.

This week I found some old buckles which look like horse bridle buckles and a few odds and ends.

The question I have is I have found several Brick Piles or what looks like a brick wall is laying over. I get faint hits under these bricks, but no solid tones. Do you think it would be worth my while to dig thru all the rubble to see if the tones are real or not? I've tried with a shovel and it just won't work. I need a pic or something I believe. What do you guys think?

Thanks

Rob

Glade you are able to get back out, I'm still waiting. Sounds like a good spot for some great finds. I'm not able to help with your question, but I'm sure someone on here will have the answer.

are these bricks still mortared together ?

Its possible what your getting signals on are wires that may have been used to add strenght to the wall.

But if its nagging at you and there is no restriction to the work,, go for it !! a person never knows what could be there.

Ya never know till ya dig it ! I will quite often move stuff out of my way.Especialy if the site has been hunted before. These are the spots were you can be pretty sure nobodys searched yet.Last time out i dug out 3-4 very large rocks to get at a signal that turned out to be an empty can,but the whole time i'm thinkin Cache !Plus its good exercise !! I have one spot were i have found some very good stuff in a small area, part of that area is under a large rotting log.Ive been gradualy pulling off limbs as they rot eventualy the main log will have rotted to were i might be able to move it !
