Default Park is still a givin' it up

My favorite park continues to throw up coins like five year old throws up beets! No need to post pictures as it's all clad but here's the count:
16 quarters
42 dimes
4 nickles
32 pennis, mostly copper
a US flag pin
a smal brass lock

PS For those of you locked in by the weather I'm doing this for you too

Heres another note. I searched around and eventually bought a rock polisher, $16.00 at Walmart, it's plastic and made under the logo of National Geographic, one of the science projects near the front counter. I found it cleans up the coins really well with some Dawn dishwash soap and water if I leave it alone for a few hours. I wouldn't say the mix makes them shine but it does well enough to either package them in wrappers or to take 'em to the Coin Star machine and trade them in.

I got a wheatie out of the park and did not realize it until I started cleaning the coins up. I did better than I thought, it's the first wheatie from here so maybe that's a good sign. I'll post the date when it's visible.

Must be a great park, our 1 is very slow right now, so is the beach. Only walkers as it is very cold.

Well Warrant, What Goes Around Will Come Around;

In a matter of months your ground will be rock hard, skeeters everywhere, and heat, heat, heat while us up here in the Midwest will be sniffing the fresh air of springtime, enjoying mild sunshine, and digging in mellow ground.

That lasts for a few days, then we have skeeters, humidity, hot temps, muddy or cement ground and tornadoes.

Guess there's no perfect place

The penny turned out to be a 1952 S Wheatie.
