Default Todays hunt

Well I took both my toys out today, the 1350 and the 250. Went to my old farm house site again. I was using the 250 with the sniper coil the whole time. I found a bunch of pennies but only one wheatie a 1954D. I also found a clad dime 1974. I was about to give it up for the day and was heading back to the truck when low and behold I got a signal that went through the roof. It was registering a dollar. I have had those before and turned out to be junk. I dug anyway and at about 3 inches I saw something glisen in the sunlight, out pops this real pretty liberty half 1941 no mint mark. According to what I read in my red book I would grade it a good F12 but close to VF20. This was my first silver half so my day was very rewarding to say the least. Sometime it pays to take a day off from work. As soon as my better half can find the memory card for the camera I will post a picture. Wait till the grandkids see what Pappa found.
