Default Return To The Old Farm House ...

Sunday afternoon I returned to the old house site where I recently found the large cent and was able to hunt for a couple of hours before the rain came. I found my first silver at this site ... a 1947 Roosevelt dime, my first Buffalo nickle for this year (no date), and 6 wheat cents (1944, 1944, 1945, ?, ?, ?) I also found a few home site relics such as a mane comb, a lock, a small buckle (with the old home owner's initial on it "P"), a gas valve, a pocket knife, several bullets, and a few other odds and ends. It was a pretty good time until the rains came and sent me packin'.

Default Great finds

Looks like a great day out. Just think what all you'll come home with after a sunny day that gives you plenty of hunting time. Keep the photos coming.
