Thumbs down Heavy Day at the Beach

Welp, went back to the Surf Fishing beach I went to last week, Iceburgs/Iceflows all melted, beach is back to normal, so I Md'ed closer to the water and found what I thought I'd find...SINKERS... ...Sinkers I don't need...Time to leave this beach to the surf fishermen and move on to plan "B"...The Ole Farm...Anyway, todays finds:

42 ounces of assorted sinkers
5 more crusty pennies
1 1977 reddish nickle
Plenty of assorted junk also...

Thumbs up Oh Well

That is a dang nice bunch of sinkers you got yourself there. You should open up a fishin' tackle store. Oh well, at least you are out there swinging the coil.

You would think there would be some gold where the sinkers are!

Heck just take some of those sinkers with you next time. Pop one off of those dogs noses and they won't bother you.
But if it just gets them madder.
Run like he##.

For what its worth....

Down here fishing leads sell about .25 per ounce,so that would be somewhere around $10.50

I went to the beach late today to test out my vaquero in the dry sand, found a boat/diesel oil filter at 2 ft, a few pieces of scrap, Its still early in the season and I went to a small beach area as far as people/traffic are concerned...But after seeing your post I was after the lead,Ive lost so many weights in that sand before,I just followed the "cart" tracks and looked for the sand spike holes

No Luck Though.
