Default Finally got out today !

I had to go 2 hours south to get away from the snow cover here. I went down to my deceased Uncle's farm. It is now abandoned. This farm was previously searched by my father. Looks like he left me the small change. Oh well. Mostly Wheaties, Roosevelt's, and one Jefferson. The oldest coin was a 1929 wheatie. I used the M-6 today with the Radio Shack wireless headphones. They work great. Remember the old cap grenades? I used to have one when I was a kid. Anyway found one today. Found the usual number of jar lids, pull tabs, pipe fittings, and other junk as well. Just took a picture of the stuff that was kind of interesting.

It is from 4H. I am waiting for my three cousins to identify exactly what it is. Could be a medal or from a trophy. The ground was not frozen. The farm is in Freelandville, IN.

Lots of great finds with that M6, Goat Rancher! And I'm sure envious of your getting out and finding some thawed ground. Been 7 weeks since I've been out

The thaw is coming Dick..........hang in there. Love the M-6 with 4x6 DD coil. It is dynamite in trashy areas like this old farm where you have targets on top of targets. HH
