Wow, man is that a nice find Ken! you know these weren't lost to often due to their size. Where abouts was it found?

Greg it was about 3 feet from the front porch of a farm house built in 1829.
we also got permission to do 7 others like this all in the early 1800's.
I cant wait to go back

Default silver that size is few and far between...

A really decent find. My only silver dollar find was about 18 years ago. Just coinshooting between the sidewalk and the street curb near an apartment complex built in the early 1940s. I remember the obviously good signal...but was nearly in shock when a 1900-O Morgan dollar surfaced from about 3 inches down!

I agree whole-heartedly...its simply a feeling you cannot forget.
