Went back to the old school today. It was 65 degrees and sunny. Decided to slow way down today and break up the lot in small sections. The first hole had a 1943 silver war nickle. The next hole had a no date Buffalo nickle, I found 2 Wheaties close by. Then things got blurry.
I hit a pull tab signal, dug it out and put the dirt back in the hole. I stood up and sweeped the hole again and got a Quarter Signal! I removed the dirt again and dug down another 4 inches and out comes a shiney silver 1899 Barber Quarter!!!

I nearly fell over. Honestly. I was so close to walking away from that quarter.
I don't recall when or where I found everything else, but I ended up with 2 Merc's after that, a 1925, and a 1936 D, a 1946 Roosie, some more wheaties, and a token with Memphis TN and some AVE, but I can't make it out, and some whatsits. I had a super day!!!
So, moral to this, Dig your pull tabs, and recheck your holes!!!
Happy Huntin Ya'll,
Rob
