Back Yard Hunt
Guys, I was out this afternoon on my first actual hunt and dig adventure. It was only in my back yard and half of it was still frozen and some snow covered but I did manage to find some things. My first find ever with a Metal Detector was a 1940 Nickle. My second find about a foot away was another 1940 Nickle. The rest of the items I found are as follows: a Lead Toy Soldier (I think lead since its really heavy), a 1988 Quarter, 3 pennies (one wheat), 2 buttons, a key, a lid off a mason jar, a old time toy car. Those are my finds for my first ever hunt and dig with a MD. I'm hooked.
