How many people have a F4?

I have an F4 I purchased back in 2010 and it still appears to have great ratings. I don't see it as a bad MD and it seems to work for me. I usually run in All Metal and do my best on ground balance . Most of my problems is just getting myself tuned into it correctly.

Just curious since it does not seem to have many people who have bought them.

I have an F2 that I have used alot. The F2 is a great easy to use detector, so the F4 should only be better. What coil or coils do you have? Mine came with the 8" and 4". Later I got the 11"DD and wow it was like a whole new machine. I'm sure you have a good detector in your hands.

These Fishers are fast detectors too. So be sure to swing slow so that you can seperate each signal. If you hunt in trashy areas you should get one of the little 4" coils. They are inexpensive and great for target seperation. I once watched a video on youtube comparing the F2 and the Ace 250 and the F2 killed the Ace in speed. They are smokin fast.

I bought an F4 four months ago and I love it. It's my 1st detector. I really didn't know if I'd take to the hobby, so didn't buy a professional rig. Once I get as much as I can out of my F4 I will upgrade. The F4 package was pretty good. Very happy with it, even though it's no doubt obsolete now.

As long as a detector is finding things it is never obsolete......at least in my opinion. I used a White's Eagle II from 1988 until 2014 and it was still finding a lot of the good stuff.

No detector is obsolete. 99% of your finds is due to location.
