Just Converted my T2 Classic to Bluetooth

Got tired of wired headsets and earbuds connecting me to my detector. So for a total cost of $60.00, I purchased a Trond Model BT-DUO wireless transmitter/receiver unit and a pair of Aukey B80 Bluetooth earbuds. Both the Transmitter unit and the Earbuds are Bluetooth 5.0 APT-X LL (low latency). They paired up with no problems. This setup works great for me both in hot weather...when regular earphones are uncomfortable to wear and in cold weather when I like to wear my fur lined Arctic hat that covers my ears. The earbuds don't interfere with hats, or hooded jackets. Best of all, I'm totally free of wires that tangle in bushes or tree branches or connect you to the metal detector restricting your movement while recovering targets.

I agree, got the same wireless set-up for my Pro, also. Love it. Z-link, I believe it is called ? Hoser always wore headphones, with the cord, but I usually wouldn't , hated being tied up ! But he also spanked me most of the time ! This new Garrett wireless kit is worth any $$, in my book.( new to me ) !
I have also converted to 100% rechargeable batteries, ( for everything, even 9 volt ). ;););););)

I've also gone to lithium rechargeable batteries both 9 volt and 1.5 volt AA for my Bounty Hunter Legacy 3500, my T2 Classic, my T2SE and my Tek-Point pinpointer.
